Best Professional Experience:
Some of our guests never go to a gym and one particular guest booked in for a personal training session with me. I showed her how to use the fitball and she loved it. She bought the fitball and took video of my lesson. I felt like I really made a difference to her and that maybe she will be a bit healthier because of me.

Most Memorable Day Off:
I just loved Flam in Norway. It was like a fairytale village, like nothing I have ever seen before. The houses were like gingerbread houses! It was a ski resort and just absolutely out of this world.

Favorite Port:
St. Petersburg, Russia. I love art and history, and because Sean, my fitness colleague didn’t really like it that much, this became my day off every week for a while! What a great city and what an amazing history.

Funniest moment:
I was in Amsterdam and was on my way back to the ship when I met an old friend that I hadn’t seen for 5 years. He was working on Costa Cruises and so before we got back onboard, we went and had a beer. It was serendipitous!

How has working at sea changed you?
Waking up in a different port every day, mixing with different cultures and living on ship just broadens your horizons whoever you are!

Message for someone considering life at sea with Steiner.
I could do this for the rest of my life.
