Italy: http://www.usembassy.it - Need to call for appointment (1-3 weeks) Milano (longer time to wait), Firenze (fast) , Rome (longer time to wait), Napoli (chaos, lots of problems). Passport, payment to the embassy, photo, DS 156 fill in on computer/157 print off and filled in, example of contract, visa request letter original.
Germany: http://www.usembassy.de - Need to call for appointment (2days-3 weeks) Duesseldorf, Frankfurt, Leipzig, Muenchen, Hamburg. Passport, payment to the embassy, photo, DS 156 fill in on computer/157 print off and filled in, signed contract, visa request letter original.
Switzerland: http://bern.usembassy.gov - Need to call for appointment BERN only (2days-3 weeks). Passport, payment to the embassy, photo, DS 156 fill in on computer/157 print off and filled in, signed contract, visa request letter original
Austria: http://www.usembassy.at/en/index.html - Need to call for appointment VIENNA only (also in 2 days). Passport, payment to the embassy, photo, DS 156 fill in on computer/157 print off and filled in, signed contract, visa request letter original.

Australia & New Zealand
New candidates must apply online for C1D visa interview here: Applying for a Non-Immigrant Visa, where you will be able to complete all forms and receive an interview date online. Steiner provides a letter that must be taken to this interview. This is the link for Australia; however NZL must call the Auckland US consulate to arrange an interview date.
- A Norwegian Medical must be scheduled from a list of practitioners that is sent with the starter pack

A Criminal background check ( NAME CHECK) is obtained from a local police station on request.

A flight to LHR must be purchased along with Travel Insurance, to arrive no later than one day prior to Training Start Date.

A Bank draft for MFF must be organised for sterling £245 plus £32 for uniforms.
Once all the above has been completed a Confirmation form can be completed and fax returned to the relative Australian Office.
South Africa
New candidates must apply online for C1/D visa interview at this link: Applying for a Non-Immigrant Visa, where you will be able to complete all forms and receive an interview date online. Steiner provides a letter that must be taken to this interview. This is the link for South African Passport holders; however other African passport holders must call the US consulate in their country to arrange an interview date.
- A Norwegian Medical must be scheduled from a list of two practitioners that is sent with the starter pack.
- A Criminal background check (NAME CHECK) is obtained from a local police station on request. It will take at least 28 working days before you receive it, so please apply on time.
- A flight to LHR must be purchased along with Travel Insurance, to arrive no later than one day prior to Training Start Date.
- A Bank draft for MFF must be organised for sterling £245 plus £32 for uniforms.
Once all the above has been completed a Confirmation form can be completed and fax returned to the relative South African Office.
North America
USA and CANADIAN citizens do not need C1/D visas.
