Our maritime division has two main focuses: training and spa operations. Training with Steiner is the very first step you will take once you have been offered a position at sea and when your training program is completed, you will then report to your Spa Manager who in turn is directed by the corporate spa operations team. The head office for our maritime division is in the USA.
Here are a few messages from our executive team:
Leonard Fluxman
President and CEO, Steiner Leisure Limited |
"Welcome aboard! If you are interested in working at sea and are qualified spa, salon or fitness personnel, then by the time you read through this site, you should have made your decision. Most of what you need to know is right here, but if it isn’t, don’t hesitate to email us!" |
Glenn Fusfield EVP and Chief Operating Officer, Maritime |
"Right now, seeing somewhere like China or Acapulco or even the Caribbean may seem an impossible dream. But 2000 spa staff right now know it is very possible!" |
Amanda Francis
SVP, Sales and Revenue, Maritime |
(Amanda was, once-upon-a-time, a hairstylist onboard a luxury cruise ship with Steiner.)
"One of your questions may be, “Can I build my career with Steiner?”. Take it from me you can."
Steve Bolitho
VP Maritime Operations |
"If you decide to apply and are accepted, you will be supported by a team of Operations Managers who will always be available to help you. Your success is our success, so we try our hardest to make you as successful as possible." |
Robert Schaverien
Managing Director of Training |
"I will be one of the first people you meet when you train in the Steiner Training Academy. We have been training Steiner spa staff for cruise ships for over 20 years and believe it is our emphasis on training that helps us create great successful teams at sea. Good luck and I hope we meet."
